Design in Details
Following the guidelines of the surrounding development, Tatyana developed and presented two options addressing the guidelines during the preliminary design phase. The first option incorporated characteristics from the natural world, such as reclaimed wood, greenery, and natural light. Encouraging the use of natural and reclaimed materials is one of the principles of sustainable and cost effective design.
Biophilic Elements
Spaces that connect us to nature are proven to inspire, boost our productivity, and create greater well-being. By incorporating biophilic design elements, architects can leverage these principals to create exteriors that resonate across various ages and demographics. This humanistic approach to design balances the challenges of living in increasingly urbanized societies with a conscious effort to celebrate a shared love of nature.
